Lori Ann Neiger

April 21, 1960 — January 10, 2005

Lori Ann Neiger, age 44, loving daughter of Eugene L. and Ann L. Pallotto Neiger, entered her heavenly reward late Monday evening in her family home following a sudden illness. Lori was born in Dover April 21, 1960. She graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1979. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.She was a fan of Wheel of Fortune and many televised sporting events. Lori enjoyed spending time at Tuscora Park and New Towne Mall and will be remembered as a dear person who was generous and caring to all whom she knew. Lori will be sadly missed by her family whom, in addition to her parents, includes a sister, Diane L. (Tony) Carlisle of New Philadelphia, a niece; Ashley Carlisle, aunts; Cilta Griffith, Mary VanSickle, Tina (Jim) Mathias, all of New Philadelphia, Janice DeVault of Dover, Bernice Nussbaum of Massillon, and Mary Neiger of New Philadelphia, uncles; Dom V. (Nancy) Pallotto, Marion (Rita) Neiger, both of New Philadelphia, Jack Neiger of Dover, and Todd Detre of Lordstown, O. and numerous cousins. Lori is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Domenico and Melita DiSanto Pallotto and her paternal grandparents Edward and Clara Sherretts Neiger, aunts Evelyn Detre, and Harriet Kandel, and Lucy Wilhelm, as well as uncles; Jack Nusbaumer, William Neiger, Paul Neiger Sr. and Paul Griffith, and a cousin, Bret LaCroix. Visitation will be Friday afternoon from 4 until 6 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia where Christian Wake Services will commence at 6 PM. Msgr. George J. Schlegel will lead a funeral mass Saturday morning at 10:30 AM in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Philadelphia. Following the committal service, a reception will be held at St. Amborose Hall, adjacent to the church. Contributions in Lori’s memory may be made to her family.
