Lloyd Willis Peterman

Lloyd Willis Peterman, age 76, of Magnolia, died peacefully early Saturday morning, January 6, 2007 in Hennis Care Center at Bolivar. Born May 30, 1930, Lloyd attended the Ohio School for the Deaf at Columbus, Ohio. For most of his life, Lloyd worked as a coal miner retiring in the early 1980’s.Lloyd was an active member of the Akron & Canton Deaf Clubs. Together with his companion, Mary Jones of Magnolia, Lloyd enjoyed traveling to other deaf club activities throughout Ohio. In addition to his companion, Mr. Peterman is survived by his brothers, Lawrence and Howard Peterman. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Cremation is planned. The Rev. Dr. Steven R. Bailey will lead the Peterman Memorial Service Thursday, January 11, at 2PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover where friends can call one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg.
