Lisle Rogers, Jr.

Lisle Rogers, Jr. Age 86 of Magnolia died Thursday, September 26, 2013.

A son of the late Lisle Rogers, Sr. and Mary G. Rogers, Lisle was born at New Philadelphia on June 13, 1927.

He graduated from New Philadelphia High School, where he was a football standout. Like many of his generation, Lisle entered into the United States Navy where he was stationed in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.

Lisle worked for a number of years as an electrician for the Ford Motor Company prior to retiring and in his free time enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by his sister, June Willoughby of Massillon; a niece and nephews.

Graveside services, led by Father Jeff Coning, will be held in the Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
