Lisa Burns

Lisa M. Burns, 54, of New Philadelphia, passed away of an apparent cardiac episode in her home on May 25, 2020.

Born in Dover on September 21, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Robert Grinder.

After graduating from high school, she was employed throughout the community most recently at Walmart as a maintenance manager.

She had a knack for fixing things and enjoyed renovating her surroundings.

She is survived by her children, March Robinson, IV, of Canton, Marah (companion, Karissa Mann) Robinson of Defiance, and Tiah (companion, Ryan Metcalf) Robinson of New Philadelphia; her grandsons, Pierson and Baron Robinson; her granddogs, Jasspur, Saydi, and Dex; and her siblings, Robert, Tommy, and Heather Grinder, Julie Chapman, Amanda Weinhardt, Matt Grinder, and Holly Wood.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Roosevelt Burns.

Cremation care has been entrusted to Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory. A gathering will be held at a later date.
