Linda R. Beamer

Linda R. Beamer, 66, of Tuscarawas, died Monday, July 14, 2008 in Union Hospital at Dover.A daughter of the late James and Avalene Ferrell Greenlee, Linda was born October 17, 1941 at Dennison.She graduated from Uhrichsville High School in 1959 and attended Ohio State University. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church at Dennison and the church’s Altar Society. Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening.She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Robert L. Beamer, whom she married July 13, 1963; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. and Lisa Beamer, Jr., of New Philadelphia; daughters and sons-in-law, Leslee A. and David House, and Susan E. and David Ammer, all of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Sami, Brooke and Beau Beamer and Lee and Emily House; a sister, Mrs. Lonnie (Margie) Meek, of Uhrichsville, sisters-in-law, Mrs. Jane Greenlee, and Mrs. Christine Beamer, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John (Jeanne) Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Dick (Betty) Beamer, Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Carol) Valentine and Mr. and Mrs. Larry (Rosalie) Bolden.She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, James Greenlee and her brother-in-law, Kenneth Beamer.A memorial mass will be held Friday, July 18, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church at Dennison with Father Martin Ralko officiating. Burial of Linda’s cremated remains will follow in Calvary Cemetery, at New Philadelphia.
