Linda Lou Reneker, age 65, of Uhrichsville, died Saturday, January 24, 2009, in her home following a sudden illness.A daughter of the late Bud Groh and Becky Lou (Liggett) Woods, Linda was born at Steubenville, Ohio on April 1, 1943.Linda attended Dennison Schools and on September 24, 1977, she married Donald Reneker and together the couple reared seven children.Working on jigsaw puzzles, playing card games such as Shanghai and Solitaire, and playing the dice game Yahtzee are all activities that Linda enjoyed sharing in with family and friends. Additionally, Linda found great joy in listening to country music.Linda was also known to have a very giving heart. She was always willing to help others out and provide anything to family and friends who were in need.In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her children, Dena McComb (husband Jeff) of Midvale, Troy Harshey (companion Leisa) of Waverly, Ohio, Richard Sunderlin (wife Susan) of Uhrichsville, Shane Sunderlin (wife Kacy) of New Philadelphia, Gloria Wolfe of New Philadelphia, Michael Reneker (wife Joanne) of Dover, and Jamie Reneker of Canton; and a brother-in-law, Don “Sully” Sullivan of Dennison.Fourteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews complete the family.In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by an infant Son and her sister, Ann Sullivan.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, from 5:00 â?? 7:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. Pastor Larry Malterer will lead a service celebrating Linda’s life on Wednesday, January 28, 2009, at 10:30 AM in the funeral home’s chapel. In keeping with Linda’s wishes, cremation will take place following services through the care of Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover.Those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions in Linda’s name to Cats ‘N’ Us Shelter, PO Box 832, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
