Linda A. Jones

Linda A. Jones, 71, of Dover, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 6, 2012 in Union Hospital at Dover.

A daughter of the late Stanley and Dorothy (Lengler) Welsch, Linda was born May 29, 1941 at Dover, Ohio.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ at Dover. Linda enjoyed the company of her cats as well as completing puzzles. She was also an avid Dover Tornado fan. Her greatest passion in life was her family and she will be remembered by them for her love and compassion.

Linda is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Stanley and Elizabeth of Galena, Ohio, Robert and Mary Ann of St. James, Missouri, Brock and Lisa of New York, Damon and Jennifer of Ravenna, Ohio and Jason and Angela of Dover and 12 grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Collin, Derek, Caleb, McDowell, Brock, Jr., Hannah, Lindsey, Jesse, Cameron and Megan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Robert Daniel Jones who passed away on October 31, 2009 and an infant daughter, Lisa Ann.

In keeping with Linda’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
