Lillian E. Boggiani, 70, of Midvale, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 in her home surrounded by her family following a courageous 5-year battle with cancer.
Born in Midvale on July 4, 1943, she was the daughter of the late William LeRoy and Bertha June (Wade) Eberly.
After graduating from Midvale High School, she continued her formal education at Aultman School of Nursing where she earned the Registered Nurse certification.
Her professional career began as the Director of Nursing for Valley Manor. She then worked as the quality assurance director with Twin City and Union Hospitals. Her career continued as PASSPORT and the Joint Commission; ultimately, retiring in 2004 from Indian Valley Schools where she was the school nurse.
Lillian was blessed to find her soul mate as a young lady and 7 years later, she and Gene Boggiani were married. Together, they greatly enjoyed seeing the country in their motor homes. This passion began in 1972 when they purchased their first one, and continued throughout the last 30 years, especially enjoying numerous trips to Myrtle Beach in it with their family. They were also members of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison.
