Leroy Shull, 87, of Dover, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Park Village Health Care at Dover following a period of declining health.
A son of the late Reuben and Lena Ann (Yeager) Shull, Leroy was born February 23, 1928 at Dover, Ohio.
Leroy retired from Nickles Bakery at Navarre after 42 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Also, in his younger years, he enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Kimbolton.
He is survived by his children, Daryl Shull of Dover, Sheryl Welling of Alliance and Dale (Mary) Shull of Walnut Creek; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Bertha Shull of Sugarcreek.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; his former wives, Catherine (May) Shull, Delores (Dunfee) Shull and Phyllis (Fisher) Shull; two infant children; a brother, Harold and three sisters, Phyllis, Lucille and Reba.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A funeral service celebrating Leroy’s life will follow at 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Cemetery at Sugarcreek.
