Lena Courim

Lena Patrick Courim, age 84, of Dover, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, January 7, 2013, in Hennis Care Centre at Dover.
Born at Salyersville, Kentucky, September 4, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Dale and Nora Sizemore Patrick.
A resident of the Tuscarawas Valley since the age of 16, Lena was a member of the Sandy Valley Church of God at Magnolia and will be remembered by her family as a wonderful homemaker.
Survivors include her two daughters; Janet Patrick Shaum of New Philadelphia and Anna Marie Nemetz Eick of Mineral City.
She’ll be sadly missed by her three grandchildren; Amy (Clay) Vandervort, Rhonda (David) Flanigan, and Lori (Nick) McDade. Five great-grandchildren; Allan, Andrea, Johnathan, Christian and Dillon also survive.
Sisters Rena Haney, Louise (Victor) Fantin, Virginia Fowler, and Vonita (Bernard) Sampsel, as well as brothers Wiley Patrick, Wishard (Louise) Patrick and James Dale Patrick, complete the family.
In addition to her parents, Lena is preceded in death by her sister Dolly Mae Price and an infant sister, Anita Patrick.
The family will gather for private services Wednesday in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Clifford Hughes officiating before taking her to rest alongside her family in New Cumberland Cemetery. There are no public calling hours.
