Laura Harvey

Laura Harvey, age 77, of Beach City, a devoted wife (Jack Harvey â?? deceased April 14, 2011), a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, died Monday, January 23 in Inverness, Florida. Laura was born in North Freedom, Wisconsin on February 22, 1934, one of eleven children and shared a life of loving memories including the births of her eight children, Dolores and Darrell of Beach City, Christine (David) Ayers of Strasburg, Jack (companion, Gretchen Seran) Harvey Jr., Edward (Patricia) Harvey of Beach City, Clarice (Jack) Neiswonger of Florida, Evelon (Doug) Littleton of Dover and Jeffrey (Stacy) Harvey of Strasburg. In addition, she leaves behind nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was a tender soul, married on August 29, 1953, and wanted nothing more than to once again join the man she loved. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 27, 2012, from 5 to 7p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover, 5600 North Wooster Ave. A funeral service celebrating Laura’s life will be led by Nathan Douglas on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Geib Funeral Center. Burial will follow in Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. Following the committal service, a memorial reception will be held in the Hospitality Room at the Geib Funeral Center.
