Latricia Kay Hashman

Latricia Kay Hashman, age 44, of New Philadelphia, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in her residence following an unknown health event.

Born in Columbus, Ohio on January 13, 1981, Tricia was a daughter of Brenda VanNatter Hughes of New Philadelphia and Scott William Hughes of Arizona.

She was a 1999 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and Buckeye Career Center. For a period of time Tricia worked as a secretary in the medical field.

She enjoyed dancing, singing, listening to music, painting, playing games on her phone, and faithfully following WWE Wrestling. However, nothing brought Tricia more joy than having the opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother and father, Tricia is survived by three children, Alexander Hashman, Kylie (Zach Snyder) Hashman, and Kirstin Linard; her beloved granddaughters, Kimberly and Amelia and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as two brothers-in-law.

Latricia was preceded in death by a brother, Spencer William Hughes; her husband, Donald Hashman, and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia is handling cremation care.
