Larry Lee Nohl, age 80, of Bolivar, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 in his residence.
Born at Canton on December 12, 1937, Larry was a son of the late Harold and Christine (Holstrom) Nohl.
Larry attended Sandy Valley High School and served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1961-1963. His professional career was spent with US Ceramic Sparta Tile.
His faith was nurtured at Bisel United Methodist Church and in his free time, Larry enjoyed traveling, camping and being with family.
He is survived by his sister, Kathy Nohl of Canton; a step-daughter, Linda, (Dick) Harvey, and a step-daughter-in-law, Barbara Goldsmith, all of Bolivar; five step-grandchildren, Troy (Stacey) Harvey of Akron, Tammy (Peter) Casaletto of Goshen, Indiana, Tresha (John Fabynick) Goldsmith of Weatherford, Texas, Brian (Michelle) Goldsmith of Zoar, and Cara (Nick) Alleshouse of Bolivar; and five step-great-grandchildren, Jacob and Bryce Harvey, Brandon Goldsmith, and Kayla and Lucas Casaletto.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Clara, who died on April 13, 2012 and a step-son, Larry Goldsmith.
In keeping with Larry’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services. Cremation care has been conducted by Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory at Dover.
