Larry J. Jenkins

Larry J. Jenkins, 72, of Midvale, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, in the Hospice House at New Philadelphia.

Born in Midvale, Larry was the son of the late Carl J. Jenkins and Jeannette R. (Robinson) Kohl.

After graduating from Midvale High School, Larry spent the majority of his professional career working for the former Shenango in Dover. He also owned Jenkins Masonry.

When he wasn’t working, Larry greatly enjoyed hunting mushrooms and ginseng and walking around with his metal detector looking for treasures.

He will be missed by his son, Dan Jenkins of Dennison; his daughters, Deb, Diane, and Donna; granddaughters, Alex, Andi, and Allicia Jenkins; his sisters, Jeanettie (Ron) Dague, Martha (Larry) Stein, and Margaret Walters; a brother, Carl Jenkins; and several nieces and nephews.

No public visitation or services will be held. Cremation will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
