Larry Dean Clark

Larry Dean Clark, 64, of New Philadelphia, died Monday, October 05, 2009 at home with his family by his side.A son of Marcella (Stuber) Clark and the late Clifford Clark, Larry was born March 15, 1945 at Dover, Ohio.Larry was a 1963 graduate of Strasburg High School and was a lifelong truck driver. He was a member of the Brewster Moose Lodge as well as the Dover V.F.W.He was a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding his 1983 FLHS, especially for various benefit rides. Larry was also passionate about his grandchildren and always enjoyed their company.He is survived by his wife, Helen (Huff) Clark whom he married on June 29, 1985; his mother, Marcella Clark of Strasburg; his children, Larry (Tricia) Grippin Jr. of Burk, Virginia, Janelle (Gary) McClellan of Salem, Oregon, John (Alisa) Grippin of Bend, Oregon, John (Lori) Bantum of Strasburg, Elizabeth (Henry) Yoder of Killbuck, Ohio and Paul (Jeni) Bantum of Dover; 14 grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Jo (Kelly) Lattner of New Philadelphia and Mary (Marvin) Barger of Dover; his father-in-law, Howard Clum of New Philadelphia and several aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A private graveside service celebrating Larry’s life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 in Dover Burial Park with Pastor Larry Fletcher officiating.
