Larry D. Rowland

Larry D. Rowland, age 63, died Thursday, July 10, 2008, in his home surrounded by his family and friends following a lengthy illness.Born in Freeport, Ohio, Larry was a son of the late Preston and Florence (Myers) Rowland.He graduated from the former Lakeland High School in 1962; and furthered his education through studies in Industrial and Electrical Engineering.His self motivation, education and life experiences led to supervisory, managerial and administrative promotions throughout his working career.Larry enjoyed family activities that included camping, boating, backyard barbeques, golfing and traveling.He is survived by his loving family and numerous friends.The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 17, 2008, from 5:00 â?? 8:00 PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. Prior to visitation, a Christian Wake Service will be held in the Dover Funeral Center at 4:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated by Father Ed Keck and assisted by Deacon Lyn Houze on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 10:30AM in the Church of the Holy Trinity at Zoar. Burial will follow in St. Stephen’s Catholic Cemetery at Bolivar.
