Kye Sun Fuerstenberg

Kye Sun Fuerstenberg, 57, of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, December 5, 2007, in Union Hospital at Dover following a brief illness.A daughter of the late In Kyu Pak and Pok Ye Chong, Kye was born August 25, 1950, at Namwon-kun Village, Chonpuk-do Province, Korea.She immigrated to the United States in 1991, was of the Buddhist faith and enjoyed gardening.She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” M. Fuerstenberg, whom she married on December 19, 1990; a son, Sean M. Fuerstenberg, of the home, and four sisters.In addition to her parents, Kye was preceded in death by a brother.In accordance with her wishes her body will be cremated under the direction of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory of New Philadelphia and burial of her cremated remains will be in South Korea.
