Khristen Lynn Snyder

Khristen Lynn Snyder, 19, of New Philadelphia passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 following injuries sustained from an automobile accident

Born in Canton on October 11, 1993, she was the daughter of Robert L. and Karen J. (Eddy) Snyder.

Khristen was a 2012 graduate of New Philadelphia High School where she participated in the band and color guard throughout her high school career. She was presently in her second year at Kent State University Tuscarawas Campus, where she was pursuing a degree in education. She also was employed at Taco Bell in New Philadelphia.

She was a hard worker who knew the value of education and a strong work ethic, and was excited about educating and loving children as a career.

She will be deeply missed by her parents, Robert and Karen; her sisters, Tabatha Murphy of New Philadelphia, Gloria Snyder of Canton, Linda Snyder of Minerva, and Patty Snyder of New Philadelphia; her cousins, Jerrimie, Jason, and Bryan Gordon; her great-grandmother, Metta Marie Eddy of Scio her maternal grandparents, Keith and Kay Eddy of Jewett; her paternal grandparents, Mike and Linda Snyder of Orrville;; her nieces and nephews, Tyler, Jaden, and Elizabeth Murphy, Zoey, and Ambrosia Snyder; her boyfriend, John Anderson and his son, Elliott; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia on Monday, September 30 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. A service celebrating Khristen’s beautiful life will be held in the funeral home’s chapel on Tuesday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery at Jewett.
