Kevin Schupbach

Kevin John Schupbach, 36, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 at his home.

A son of Leslie and Krista (Simpson) Schupbach of Dover, Kevin was born on October 8, 1978 at Millersburg, Ohio. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at New Philadelphia and was currently employed at Primary Packaging, Inc. at Bolivar.

Kevin will be remembered for his warm and caring personality and was often referred to as a “gentle giant”. He was a true family man and especially enjoyed fishing and boating with his children and giving them rides on his motorcycle.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Alexis, Zachary and Tyler and their mother, Shannon; a daughter, Angelica; his siblings, Michael and his wife Grace, Gregory and his wife Krista, Roberta and her husband Dennis, Edward and his wife Kate, Theresa, and Stephanie and her husband Rocky; 20 nieces and nephews. Also, special friends, Mindy, and Andy and his mother Nora.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church at New Philadelphia. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia.

Contributions may be made to the Kevin Schupbach Memorial Fund c/o any Dover-Phila Credit Union for the benefit of educational expenses for Kevin’s children.
