Kevin Ray Weber

Kevin Ray Weber, 50, of Columbus, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, in Mercy Medical Center at Canton from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on July 8th near his parent’s home.A son of John and Mary Ann (Haas) Weber of Dover, he was born October 18, 1955 in Dover, Ohio.Kevin was a 1974 graduate of Dover High School and then graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in computer programming. He was employed with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 19 years.He enjoyed many activities which include scuba diving and rafting and he had a great love for animals. Family and friends were very important to Kevin, and he will be remembered as a funny, kind, gentle soul.In addition to his parents, Kevin is also survived by two sisters, Donna (Kevin) Blizman of Sarasota, Fla., Kelly (John) Shuptrine of Lynchburg, Va.; one brother, Dan (Nadine) Weber of Loveland, Ohio; nephews, Beau Blizman, Jeremy Weber, Chris Shuptrine and Casey Shuptrine; nieces, Cassi Weber and Brooke Blizman; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Visitation will be Saturday, July 29, 2006 from 6:30pm-8pm in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Jim Lewis on Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 1pm in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel. Following the service, a memorial reception will be held in the Geib Family Center at New Philadelphia.
