Kenneth Edward Guthrie, 77, of Gnadenhutten, died Wednesday, February 5, 2020, in his residence.
Born at Dover, Ohio on May 24, 1942, Kenny was a son of the late Wilma O. Guthrie Grove.
He attended New Philadelphia High School and began his professional career at Frantz Grinding. He later worked for IF Ridgid Tool at New Philadelphia and retired from 416 Sand & Gravel.
Kenny loved cars and drag racing. He also enjoyed lawn work and being with his family.
He will be missed by his daughters, Susan Guthrie and Linda (Matt) Incarnato; his former wife and friend, Pat Guthrie all of New Philadelphia; a half-brother, Jon Grove of Coshocton; two granddaughters, Carly (fiancé, Taylor Thursby) Incarnato and Jennifer (Michael) DeBois, and four great-grandchildren, Blake and Jayli Lanzer and Gage and Luke DeBois.
In addition to his mother, Kenny was preceded in death by his half-brother, Tommy Grove and his step-father, Richard Grove.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no public visitation or services. The Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory is handling cremation care. Inurnment will take place in the Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
