Kelly J. "KJ" Haring

Kelly J. “KJ” Haring, 61, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in his home, following a battle with cancer.

Born in Canton, Kelly was the son of the late Frank and Sara (Meas) Haring and was a graduate of Canton South High School. Kelly was employed as a maintenance worker by both Mako’s Market and Pharmacy at Uhrichsville and Piedmont Gas Company at New Philadelphia. In his spare time, Kelly could often be found outside, in the woods, deer hunting, on a pond or lake fishing or just relaxing at home and drinking his favorite beverage, Budweiser.

Kelly is survived by his wife, Margie Jimenez-Haring of the residence; a son, Chad Haring and a daughter, Samantha Haring, both of Canton; three grandchildren, Carson Haring, AJ Haring and Cambrie Haring; two brothers, Dale Haring and Lynn Haring; a sister, Donna Bailey and two daughters, Maggie Jimenez of Dublin and Samantha Jimenez of St. Petersburg, Florida.

In addition to his parents, a sister also precedes him in death.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation care is to be provided by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and a private celebration of his life will take place at a later date.

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to The American Cancer Society.
