Kelli Jeanne Mason-Devlin, 53, of New Philadelphia, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in the care of Community Hospice at New Philadelphia.
A daughter of Barbara Mason of New Philadelphia, and the late Ronny Mason (died January 13, 2016), Kelli was born December 28, 1962 at Dover, Ohio.
Kelli was a 1981 New Philadelphia graduate, having participated in the marching band as a field commander. She graduated in 1985 from Mount Union College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her master’s degree in 2007 from Walsh University, becoming a licensed mental health counselor. She was employed by Stark Regional Community Correction Center at Louisville, where she was a long-time intake officer and had recently been promoted to deputy administrator. In addition, she was an actress with Mr. E Murder Mysteries performing throughout Ohio. She also performed in numerous shows at the Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County, mostly in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, John Devlin; a brother Michael (Janet) Mason; her three godchildren, Luka, Holden, and Norah Rotunno and nine nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Kelli’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services and cremation care will take place through the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory.
