Keith A. Wright

KEITH A. WRIGHT, 69, of Dover, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at Aultman Hospital in Canton. Keith was born April 27, 1933 in Dover to the late Clarence A. and Martha G. Waltz Wright and graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1952. On November 1, 1952 he married the former Rena Vae Sergent. Keith worked as a millwright for Greer Steel until retiring in 1975. He was a member of the New Philadelphia First Church of God. Keith was also a member and instructor for the NRA. He also belonged to the Ohio Pistol Association, and was a life-member of the Tusco Rifle Club. A member of the Sugarhill Wildlife Club, Keith enjoyed camping. He served as a reserve Tuscarawas county Sheriff’s deputy. He enjoyed attending area car shows and liked wintering with Rena Vae in Punta Gorda, FL. He is survived by his wife, Rena Vae, of Dover; daughters Diane (Tom) Elmore of Leesville, Connie (Ben) Reynolds of Dover and Debbie Jo Clark of Dover; sons, David (Tammy) Wright of Dover and Scott (Lori) Wright of Sugarcreek; sisters, Linda (Bob) Hughes of Vienna, VA and Elaine (Raymond) Thomas of New Philadelphia; a brother, David (Donna) Wright of Shepherdstown, WV; grandchildren, Terri Jo Brown, Ericka Elmore, Tyler and Brittany Clark, Bryan Wright, Katie Wright and Jared Martin; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Jo and Somer Brown, Malachai Reynolds and David Broderick. Besides his parents, Keith was preceded in death by an infant sister and a great-grandchild. There will be no calling hours. The memorial service will be Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at 7:00 in the First Church of God, 824 Tuscarawas Avenue, New Philadelphia, with Pastor Matt Rowe officiating.
