Kay Lavonne Gray

Kay LaVonne Gray, 71, of Jaycee Valley Apartments at Uhrichsville, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2009 in Union Hospital at Dover following a short illness.Born December 27, 1937 at Uhrichsville, Ohio, Kay was a daughter of the late Ralph and Jessie Burns.Kay enjoyed her family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.She is survived by a son, Douglas (Diane) Gray of Louisville; a daughter, Candace (Rudy) Felix of Uhrichsville; one grandson, Travis Gray; four granddaughters, Danielle and Nicole Gray and Lacee and Ruby Felix; three brothers, Jack (Bev) Burns of Green, Ohio, Bill (Faye) Burns of Uhrichsville and Bob Burns of New Philadelphia and one sister, Sue (Dave) Smith of Uhrichsville.Kay was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gene Berkshire and Donald Burns; five sisters, June Bunch, Lois Heter, Jneanne Burns and Betty Burns as well as an infant sister.In keeping with Kay’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of Geib Funeral Center at Dover.
