Katherine Lucille Frantz

Katherine Lucille Frantz, 84, of Dennison, died Friday, March 14, 2014 in Aultman Hospital at Canton following a period of declining health.

A daughter of the late Fred E. and Iva Mae (Laporte) Seibert, Katherine was born February 22, 1930 at Tippecanoe, Ohio.

Katherine was a former president of the Dennison V.F.W. and was also a member of the Dennison Eagles and Uhrichsville Moose. She was an avid reader and she enjoyed crocheting. Katherine especially enjoyed flowers and tending to her gardens at her home.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Burdette and her companion, Ed Glasco of Dover and Darlene Huffman and her husband, Anthony of Canton; her grandsons, Eric and Gary Burdette both of Dover; a great granddaughter, Brynn Burdette of New Philadelphia and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Frantz who passed away on June 18, 2005.

In keeping with Katherine’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory.
