Justin C. Green, Jr.

Justin C. Green Jr., 66, of Zoarville, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 in Massillon following a lengthy battle with a brain tumor.

A son of the late Justin C. Green, Sr. and Mary (Metzger) Green, Justin was born November 3, 1939 in Dover, Ohio. He graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1959 and was retired from Heineman Saw Corporation where he worked for 36 years. Justin was a member of the Good Hope Lutheran Church in Zoarville and was also a member of the Caldwell Masonic Lodge at Bolivar. He was a Corvette enthusiast having owned his own Corvette and he also enjoyed his cats, Buddy Boy and Fluffy.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Diane Green of Massillon; three grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey and Cory Green; his fiance’, Judi DeGordon of Massillon; and his mother-in-law, Adair Locker of Massillon.

Justin was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sherry Green; and his father-in-law, Bob Locker.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, July 9, 2006 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia with the Caldwell Masonic Lodge holding Masonic services at 4:45 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Justin’s life will be held on Monday, July 10, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Rev. Langley Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia. Following the services, a memorial reception will be held in the Geib Family Center at New Philadelphia.
