June L. Davis

June Louise Davis, 77, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully in Amberwood Manor on April 16, 2025.

Born in Gnadenhutten on June 1, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Griffith) Long.

After graduating from Gnadenhutten High School in 1965, June spent much of her professional career as an EMT with Tri-County Ambulance in Newcomerstown.

She was an avid reader, loved to crochet, and was a fan of both The Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. Additionally, she enjoyed motorcycle riding with her late husband, David A. Davis. June’s faith was nurtured for numerous years at Waters Edge Assembly of God in Newark.

June is survived by her children, Heidi (Michael) Pershing of New Philadelphia, Jody Winland of Philo, Ohio, David Paulun and Scott (Susan) Paulun, both of Coshocton, Angela Davis of Massillon and Theresa (Tripp) Stuckey of Enterprise, Alabama; grandchildren, Joshua McCune, Ayden Baker, Rilee and Victoria Pershing, Thomas and Chase Winland, Jenna and Jessica Paulun, Briana (Badr) Benslimane, Pierce Davis, and Brenda and Maverick Stucky; special cousin, Marion Long; siblings, Kenneth (Debi) Long, Carol Hunt, and Betty (Everett) Holland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chuck (Susan) Davis and Vivian Long; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, June was preceded in passing by her siblings, Robert Long, William (Paula) Long and Joann Mattison.

No public visitation or services are scheduled.
