Judy Kay Winter

Judy Kay Winter, 49, of Stone Creek, died suddenly on Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Aultman Hospital at Canton, Ohio.A daughter of Robert Bucher and the late Mona Lou (Gurtner) Fisher, Judy was born April 11, 1958 at Dover, Ohio.Judy was a 1976 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and she was a longtime employee of J & J Refuse at Dover.She enjoyed tending to the floral gardens around her home and she cherished the companionship provided by her dogs. Judy also liked to cook and her family and friends never passed up an opportunity to share her meals. Judy’s true joy in life, however, was her son Robert.She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Winter, whom she married in 1981, her son, Robert Winter of Stone Creek; her father and step-mother, Robert and Betty Bucher of Stone Creek; a sister, Jane Simmers of New Philadelphia; a brother, Richard (Joyce) Bucher of Stone Creek; a cousin, Lavonne (Mike) LaCroix of New Philadelphia; nieces and nephews and her numerous beloved pets.Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Mona Lou Fisher.Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A funeral service celebrating Judy’s life will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel with Rev. Hugh Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Creek Cemetery.
