Juanita M. Hudnall, age 60 of Dover, died peacefully early Tuesday, June 05, 2018 in Union Hospital at Dover following a four-year battle with cancer.
Born at Beckley, West Virginia on October 24, 1957, Juanita was a daughter of the late Norman Stover and Mary Workman Hellem.
A 1976 graduate of Dover High School, Juanita’s professional career spanned 33 years with Buckeye Career Center at New Philadelphia where she served as an administrative secretary. As a lover of all animals, Juanita spent 38 years breeding and showing her award-winning Persian cats on both the national and international circuits. She loved gardening and working with flowers, fishing at Tappan Lake and above all spending time with her family.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of nearly 39 years, Bruce Hudnall, whom she married on October 13, 1979; their children, Amanda Hudnall of Dover and Matthew Hudnall of Stow; three sisters, Jona (John) Scott of Port Washington, Peggy Hellem of Atwood Lake, and Sarah (Ernest Host) Hellem of Bowerston; her aunts and uncle, Halline (Bud) Thompson and Joan Blevins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many cousins.
The family will greet guests on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover where Pastor Brian Flood will lead a service celebrating Juanita’s life on Friday at 1:30 PM. Inurment will follow in the Dover Burial Park.
