Joshua Williams

Joshua A. Williams, age 40, of New Philadelphia passed away on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023. Through his death, Josh shared the gift of life to others by organ donation. 

He was born on February 24th, 1983 in Akron, Ohio to Richard and Mary (Howard) Williams.  

Josh was a 2001 graduate from New Philadelphia High School.  He was a loving father to Finley and Fiona Williams. In his spare time, he loved to cook and experiment with new recipes and work on his truck.  He was an avid sports fan and was especially fond of the Boston Red Sox and The Ohio State Buckeyes.  

Josh is survived by his mother, Mary Williams; sister Nicole Williams; children Finley and Fiona Williams; and Morgan Numbers.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Williams. 

In keeping with Josh’s wishes, cremation will take place through the care of Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia. A private graveside service will be held on September 5, 2023.
