Joshua Cain Reichman, 28, of Tuscarawas, died suddenly on Saturday, October 18, 2003. Born October 3, l975, in Dennison, he was dearly loved by two sets of parents, his father and wife, Harry Glen and Alona L. Reichman and his mother and her husband, Kathy Pettay Recco and Bobby Recco.Before graduating from Indian Valley High School in l994, Joshua had set several records in sports including the Indian Valley football record for “most yards rushed” Â?a record which was broken the night before he died. Joshua was also voted MVP at the l994 North-South All-Star game.He was an avid drag racing fan and gun collector and enjoyed spending his free time with family and friends, but cherished the time he shared with the joy of his life, his wife, the former Trisha Martin, whom he married February 26, 2002. Nicknaming her “Baby”, he credited Trisha with changing his life and providing him with twenty of the happiest months he had every known.Josh will be missed by his wife and parents, two brothers, Samuel Clark Reichman of Newark, and Jesse Daniel Recco of Port Washington; maternal and paternal grandparents and great-grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his baby brother, a maternal grandfather, and a paternal grandmother and grandfather.Services for Josh will be in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 23, 2003, at 1:00 pm with Florence Fellers McNutt officiating. Following the committal at Gnadenhutten Cemetery, friends and family and invited to a reception at St Paul’s Presbyterian Church in Port Washington. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Joshua Reichman Memorial Fund % Dover-Phila Federal Credit Union, 119 Fillmore Avenue, Dover, OH 44622.
