Josephine Frankovich, age 89 of Coventry, Rhode Island and formerly of West Warwick, Rhode Island and New Philadelphia, Ohio, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, November 13, 2005 following an extended illness.Born at Detroit, Michigan on June 12, 1916, Josephine was one of three daughters born to the late Joseph and Mary Zamahatz Gallas. Josephine will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, and for her penchant for pasta. She leaves behind two daughters, Patricia Ferry of New Philadelphia, Ohio and Debra Weaver of West Warwick, Rhode Island. Nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Henry Frankovich who died in May, 1988, a son-in-law, Nick Ferry, and two sisters, Mary Citavicus and a sister who died in her youth, Ann Gallas. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will gather for a graveside committal service Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph Cemetery at Massillon with Msgr. George J.
