Joseph W. Brown

Joseph W. Brown, Jr., 62, New Philadelphia, died at his home on Friday morning, July 9, 2004, following a long illness.A son of Irene Yegher and the late Joseph W. Brown, Sr., he was born in New Philadelphia on November 11, 1941. Joe retired from Gradall in 2001 after 40 years of service. In his leisure time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and stock car racing. He was also a social member of the Tuscarawas V.F.W.He is survived by his mother; his wife, Janadean, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage; daughters, Kimberly Murray and her companion, Darryl Franklin of New Philadelphia, and Rebecca (Brian) Smith of Pickerington, OH; sons, Bill (Seija) Brown of New Philadelphia and Matt (Heather) Brown of Gnadenhutten; ten grandchildren; sister, Carol (Bill) Arnold of Uhrichsville; brothers, Tom (Sue) Brown, Bob (Marilyn) Brown, Dick Brown, and Jerry (Penny) Brown, all of New Philadelphia; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday, July 13, 2004, from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Following visitation, services will be conducted by the Rev. Glen Shedlock at 10:30 am in the funeral home chapel.
