Joseph Jay Jeandervin

Joseph Jay Jeandervin, 79 of Uhrichsville, died Thursday, February 10, 2022, in his residence after a period of declining health.

A son of the late Noble Jeandervin and Oda (Doney) Jeandervin, Joseph was born in Shanesville, OH, on September 23, 1942.

Joseph honorably served his county in the US Navy. His greatest joy in life was being a Papa. He cared for his grandkids for many years.

Joseph is survived by his children, Donald “Joey” Jeandervin of Connecticut, Marjorie (Mike) Rah of Massachusetts, and Summer (Aaron) Galigher of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Melynda Jeandervin, Kyle Galigher, Zach Galigher, and Jace Rah; and great-grandson, Oliver Jeandervin; he is also survived by his former wife, Sally Jeandervin.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.

Private family services will take place at a later time at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
