Joseph A. Hadley, 64, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday, April 7, 2005, at Union Hospital in Dover.A son of Earlene (Kirkendall) Crawford of Maine and the late William Hadley, Joseph was born August 17, 1940 in New Philadelphia.He attended New Philadelphia High School. He retired from K-Mart Auto Center and then he became the owner and operator of Hadley Auto Center.He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia (Wolder) Hadley, whom he married on February 11, 1962 in Long Beach, California; one daughter, Janet (John) Slutz of East Sparta; two sons, William (Diane) Hadley of Dover and Bryan Hadley of Iowa; four grandchildren, Amy, Kim, Tiffany and Jared; one brother-in-law, Ken (Les) Wolder of California; and one sister-in-law, Bette Menear of California.Joseph was preceded in death by his father; one brother, Bill Hadley; his grandparents, Elizabeth and Sam Hadley; and one daughter-in-law, Sally Jo Hadley.Visitation will be Monday, April 11, 2005 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia. Services will be conducted by Pastor Robert Musick on Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the Linn-Hert-Geib Chapel. In keeping with Joseph’s requests, cremation will take place following the services.A reception will be held at the Geib Family Center in New Philadelphia following the service.Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 W.
