John Tarleton

John Tarleton, Jr. 73, of Tuscarawas, passed away October 22, 2015 in Union Hospital at Dover under the care of Community Hospice.

Born in Bethesda, Ohio, he was the son of the late John D. and Eileen (Hartley) Tarleton. After completing his formal education, John joined the working force, retiring as a truck driver.

John loved going to the Dennison Eagles for dinner, caring for his dog, Skeeter, and keeping in contact with family and friends on Facebook. He also enjoyed fishing and playing Solitaire.

His family includes his children, John “Hunk” Tarleton, Amy Tarleton Lynn, and Jessica Rose Tarleton; his grandchildren, Dallas and Hannah Lynn, Kaleb and Markie Tarleton; his siblings, Danny Tarleton, Merrell Dometrovich, Darlene Ryan, Melinda Willison, Patricia Walter, Ronald Tarleton, Raymond Tarleton, Mary Ikey, Sandra Triplett and Ronnie Tarleton; and his care taker whom he adored, Darla Orr.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bette, who passed away in 2008; he was preceded in death by his siblings, Eric Tarleton and Bonnie Sue Tarleton.

Cremation will be cared for through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory.
