John Raymond Kendle, 57, of Medina, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the home of his son following a period of declining health.
A son of the late William Kendle Sr. and the late Dolores (Kazmierczak) Kendle, John was born April 25, 1957 at Elyria, Ohio.
John was retired from Elyria Foundry and was a member of the Elyria AMVETS. He had a passion for guns and especially enjoyed target practice and hunting. He also enjoyed woodworking. Most of all, John enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his granddaughters.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Damon and Megan Kendle of Carrollton; a step daughter, Randi Stuczka of Lorain; his granddaughters, Emily, Nicole, Caitlynn, Olivia and Kira; his siblings, Robert (Carol) Kendle of Grafton, Gregory (Patricia) Kendle of Smithville and Annette Kendle of Medina; his longtime companion, Patricia Kendle of Elyria and many nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Kendle Jr.
In keeping with John’s wishes there will be no calling hours or services and cremation will take place through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
Contributions may be made in John’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
