Joan Frances Pollock, 89, of New Philadelphia, passed away Christmas morning, December 25, 2013 following a period of declining health.
Born in Dresden, Ohio on August 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Carl W. and Viola Gayle (Ford) Lutz.
After graduating from Jefferson High School, Joan worked at Clow Corporation of Coshocton for 16 years where she performed secretarial and accounting duties. Most recently, she was employed by the former Miracle Adhesives in New Philadelphia
On October 24, 1964, Joan married her lifelong companion and friend, Thomas G. Pollock who survives.
In addition to Tom, Joan is survived by her step-daughters, Connie (Steven) Limbacher of Stone Creek and Gayle (Ed) Batson of Florida; her step-grandchildren, Laura (James) Coleman, Joshua (Melinda) Limbacher, Joan Belair, and Paul (Sindy) Belair; her sister, Helen (Earl) Garver of Dresden; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Virginia and Patty Lutz and Ruby Swope.
A private graveside service will be held in South Lawn Cemetery at Coshocton.
