Jill L. Llewellyn

Jill L. Llewellyn, age 57, of Dover passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2009 in Union Hospital at Dover.Born August 3, 1952 in Dover, she was the daughter of Pauline I. (Fabiano) Fry and the late Clayton F. Fry.After graduating from Tuscarawas Valley High School, she continued her formal education at West Liberty State College in West Virginia. On September 7, 1972, Jill married her lifelong companion, Mike Llewellyn in First Baptist Church at New Philadelphia. They enjoyed spending much of their time together the past 37 years. They were blessed with their son, Shane Llewellyn, and supported his activities and interests. Jill had a knack for decorating and enjoyed spending time in her garden. She was also an avid sports enthusiast and was especially fond of the Dover basketball team throughout the years. Most importantly, she was a kind and loving person that was always available to anyone that needed her.Most recently, Jill worked for the Kimble Company. Prior to that, Jill had been employed by Horn Electric and Stone Container. Jill will be deeply missed by her husband, Michael J. Llewellyn of Dover; her son, Shane Llewellyn of Dover; her mother, Pauline Fry of New Philadelphia; two brothers-in-law, Tim (Mary Lee) Llewellyn and Dan (Cindy) Llewellyn, both of New Philadelphia; and 4 nieces and 1 nephew.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law.Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home in New Philadelphia on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. A Memorial Service celebrating Jill’s life will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Steve Bailey officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the Geib Family Center, located adjacent to the funeral home. Cremation will be conducted through the care of Geibs.Memorial contributions in Jill’s memory may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
