Jill Bennett

Jill Riggle Bennett, 54, of New Philadelphia passed away December 20, 2012 in her home following an apparent heart attack.
Born in Dover on March 22, 1958, she was the daughter of Lorence A. and Judy A (George) Riggle of New Philadelphia.
After graduating from New Philadelphia in 1977, she began working as a nurse’s aide at various nursing homes throughout the community for 17 years. Then, she enjoyed employment with K Mart and ultimately spent the last 10 years working for Wal Mart.
She was born, raised, baptized, and confirmed at the First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia.
Jill was an extremely caring and giving lady who loved her family and cats. She enjoyed making latch-hook rugs which her entire family received as gifts. She also liked to work puzzles and create beautiful crafts.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Tom E. Bennett; her parents, Lorence and Judy; her sister, Karen LeBlanc of New Philadelphia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. A private graveside service will be held Monday in Evergreen Burial Park at New Philadelphia.
