Jess E. Jenkins

JESS E. JENKINS, 57, died unexpectedly Friday, June 6, 2003 in his New Philadelphia home. Jess was born in Dennison to Carl J. and the late Jeannette Robinson Jenkins Kohl and attended Midvale High School.Jess enjoyed lake fishing, hunting for ginseng and mushrooms. He also enjoyed playing pool and cards. Most of all, he liked spending time with his family, especially his daughters and grandchildren, who dearly loved him. Surviving are his daughters, Jennifer Susini of Dover and Jody (Paul) Jenkins of Butler, PA; granddaughter, Amber and grandson, Joshua; his dad, Carl J. Jenkins of Dennison; his sisters, Jeanettie (Ronnie) Dague of Stillwater, Margaret Walters of Pittsfield, PA and Martha (Larry) Stein of New Philadelphia; his brothers, Larry Jenkins of Dennison and Carl Jenkins of South Dakota; his long-time friend, Gay Lynn Contini; and his beloved pal, his dog “Pudge”. In addition to his mother, Jess was preceded in death by a sister, Carla Jean Jenkins.Visitation will be Wednesday, June 11, 2003 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home. The graveside service will be Thursday, June 12, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Roxford Church Cemetery.
