No PhotoJerry Jay Menges, 45, of Dover, died Friday morning, August 4, 2006 at Affinity Medical Center, Massillon Campus.Jerry was born in Dover on November 23, 1960. He was raised in Zoarville and enjoyed his time as a high school football player at Tusky Valley. After completing his high school education, he began his professional career working numerous years at Dover Machine before recently transferring to R & J Cylinder and Machine in Dover. In his free time, Jerry enjoyed hunting and fishing.He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Menges of Mineral City; two sons, John Beach III of Mineral City and Steven Beach of Coshocton; one grandson, Zachary Beach; and his close friend and ex-wife, Donna Menges of Mineral City.Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2006 at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. In keeping with Jerry’s wishes, cremation will follow visitation and no service will take place.Those wishing to do so may send the family a personal condolence and sign the online guest registry by visiting the funeral home website.
