Jerry Graham

Jerry V. Graham, 92, of New Philadelphia, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at his home following a period of declining health.

A son of the late Edward and Dora (Fox) Graham, Jerry was born October 18, 1928 at Roswell, Ohio.

On June 30, 1951, Jerry married the former Marjorie J. Everhart and they raised three children, Karen, Jerry and John. The couple shared nearly 68 years of marriage prior to Marjorie’s passing on May 16, 2019.

He was a longtime employee of Marlite, retiring after 32 years of service. Jerry was a former member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church at New Philadelphia and formerly held memberships at the New Philadelphia Moose and Eagles Lodges as well as the Tuscarawas V.F.W. Jerry enjoyed remodeling homes and in his spare time, turtle trapping.

He is survived by a daughter, Karen Edie; two sons, Jerry (Nancy Stewart) Graham and John (Darla) Graham all of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Mike Edie, Jerry B. (Jenn Townsend) Graham Jr. and Jennifer Graham and three great grandchildren, Haley Wren, John Reynolds and Alayna Graham.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a granddaughter, Crystal Harding; six sisters and 11 brothers.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and in the interest of public safety, services will be private with interment taking place in Evergreen Burial Park.
