Jeffrey Alan Keith, age 51, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Washington, County, Ohio. Born in Salem, Ohio on July 20, 1973, Jef was a son of Beulah Williams King of Newcomerstown and Alan (Penny) Keith of Johnstown, Ohio.
He was a graduate of Newcomerstown High School and attended Akron University where he studied Human Resources Management. For nearly a decade Jeff owned and operated King Lawncare and in the past handful of months worked as a driver for Holmes Lumber.
Jeff's passion in life included watching sports, and fishing. He loved the thrill of chasing and catching the Muskie. He had a deep love for his children, family, and friends. He dedicated many years of his life to building a deep relationship with the Lord. Jeff had a special place in his heart for kids and wanted to make sure that any child, family or not, felt loved when he was around them.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by two sons, Jordan Keith of Newcomerstown, and Justin (Eva Donathan) Keith of Uhrichsville; a grandson, Knox Keith; a special friend, Sarah Barker; brothers, Tyler (Lauren) Keith and Seth King; sister Courtney King as well as his nieces and nephews.
Jeff was preceded in death by two sisters, Carrie Keith and Crissy Keith.
Pastor Tommy Miller will lead a service on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 10:30 AM in the chapel of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia. A burial service will take place in the Bethel Cemetery at Newcomerstown. Following the burial service, a celebration of life reception will be held at 347 W Church Street, Newcomerstown beginning at 2pm.
