Jeanne Dutton

Jeanne Dutton, 82, of Sarasota, Florida, and formerly of New Philadelphia and Strasburg, died Wednesday, May 9, 2007, in Tidewell Hospice Center at Bradenton, Florida.A daughter of the late Charles and Caroline (Stutzmann) Kuehn, Jeanne was born in Weinbourg, France on July 11, 1924, and came to the United States in 1947 to become the bride of Logan L. Dutton. They were married on December 24, 1947, in Akron, Ohio.Jeanne worked as a buyer of women’s wear for the former Daniel’s and Schwartz-Kline’s in New Philadelphia until her retirement in 1987.She is survived by her loving husband, Logan Dutton, three sons, Christopher (Ann) of Shelburne, Vermont, Timothy (Carol) of Sarasota, Florida and KC (Hua) of Washington D.C. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Emile and Leon Kuehn.In keeping with Jeanne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held June 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover with Rev. Allen Bergmann officiating. Immediately following the service, a memorial reception will be held in the Hospitality Room of the Geib Funeral Center.
