Jeanette M. Goudy

Jeanette M. Goudy, age 89, of New Philadelphia, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Hennis Care Center at Dover.

Born in New Philadelphia on September 7, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Donald Birchard and Goldie Jane (Wernke) Stuber.

On December 4, 1948, Jeanette wed her late husband, Henry “Hank” Goudy, Jr., and celebrated sixty-one years prior to his death in 2010. They were blessed with the birth of their children, Butch (Stacy) Goudy of Dennison, Linda Goudy and Terry (wife, Kim) Goudy, both of New Philadelphia.

Her sister, Goldie Milliken; grandchildren; Scott (companion, Lauren Lipinski) Smith of New Philadelphia, Darby (wife, Kristen) Boltz of New Philadelphia, Danielle (husband, Ben) Malczewski, of Sylvania, Ohio, Hunter Goudy, Taryn Goudy, Hannah Goudy, and Cody Miller, all of New Philadelphia; and step-grandchildren, Jimmy Hayhurst of Tuscarawas, Michelle Hayhurst of Midvale, and Justin Hayhurst of Dennison also survive. Five great-grandchildren Mylee Smith, Ellie Smith, both of Dover, Logan Boltz, Jaiden Boltz, both of New Philadelphia, and Lucie Malczewski of Sylvania; as well as numerous nieces and nephews completes the family. l

In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanette is preceded in death by her siblings, Dale, Wayne, and Donald Stuber and Maxine Miller.

Pastor Max Canfield will lead a graveside service Wednesday at 12 noon in East Avenue Cemetery.
