Jeanette L. Lee, 64 of Dover, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 in Union Hospital at Dover following a brief illness.A daughter of Roberta (Winebrenner) McGuire and the late Joseph J. McGuire Sr., Jeanette was born September 18, 1941 in Frostburg, Maryland.She was a member of the Dover V.F.W. Auxiliary and was an avid book reader. Jeanette was also a Bingo caller and player at St. Joseph’s Church, Tuscarawas Central Catholic School and Harbor House.Jeanette will be sadly missed by her loving husband Robert E. Lee, whom she married on April 24, 1961; her mother, Roberta McGuire of Frostburg, Maryland; sister, Rosie (Gary) Llewellyn of Barton, Maryland; sister-in-law, Lozetta Armstrong of Dover; brothers-in-law, John (Marion) Berry of Springhill, Florida and Neil (Pat) Berry of Greenville, Michigan; nephews, Joseph J. McGuire III of Frostburg, Maryland, John R. McGuire of Wiley Ford, West Virginia and Tom (Lisa) Kazelman of Dover; nieces, Mary (Terry) Leighty of Live Oaks, Florida, Tammy Woodcock of Jacksonville, Florida, Bobbie (Ernie) Weaver of Cumberland, Maryland, Cathie (Wayne) Yutzy of Frostburg, Maryland, Tonya Holder and her special friend, Ed Brady of Wellsburg, West Virginia and Annie Lawver of Dover; numerous great nieces and great nephews; her special companions, her pup, Bobby and her dove Chipper; and all of her friends and neighbors.Her Father, her brother, Joseph J. McGuire Jr. and her mother-in-law, Nancy L. Lee preceded her in death.Family and friends may call in the Geib Funeral Center at Dover on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 5 to 8 p.m. with the Dover V.F.W. Auxiliary holding services at 5 p.m. and a Christian Wake service being held at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Dover with Father William Arnold officiating. In keeping with Jeanette’s wishes, cremation will take place following the services and inurnment will be held at a later date.Memorial contributions may be made in Jeanette’s name to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 613 North Tuscarawas Avenue, Dover, OH 44622.
