Jean A. Forst

Jean A. Forst, 84, of Uhrichsville, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at her residence.A daughter of the late Carlos and Mildred (Frame) Allman, Jean was born October 4, 1920 in Zanesville, Ohio.She was a 1937 graduate of Zanesville High School. Before her retirement, she was a registered nurse as well as the director of nursing at Massillon Community Hospital. Jean was an avid golfer having been active in the sport until her 80th birthday.She is survived by three daughters, Bari Yosick and her husband Ed Yosick of Tappan Lake, Mary Ann Pica and her companion Larry Fox of Uhrichsville and Barbara McCollins and her companion Doug Parr of Goshen, Ohio; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one niece, Susan of California.Jean was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lawrence H. Forst who died August 14, 2002, and one brother.Services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory in New Philadelphia with the Rev. Hugh Berry officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.Burial will follow in East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia.
