Janice Neiger DeVault

Janice Neiger DeVault, 78, of Dover, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, in her residence with her family by her side.A daughter of the late Edward W. and Clara O. Sherretts Neiger, Janice was born on October 6, 1928, in New Philadelphia. Janice retired from Dover Mold as a union stewardess after 28 years of service. She was a member of the Jerusalem Church, Dover V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary, and the Dover Moose.In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Neiger, William Neiger; sisters, Evelyn Detre and Harriet Kendall. She is survived by her sister, Bernice Nusbaumer of Massillon; brothers, Bud (Rita) Neiger, Eugene (Ann) Neiger, Jack (Sue) Neiger all of New Philadelphia; brother-in-law, Todd Detre of Lordstown, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Tammy (Gary) Kratz, Debra Nusbaumer, Kim Nusbaumer, Carrie Nusbaumer, Jackie (Mike) Bergener, Jan (Tim) Garner, Kathleen (Alan) Brinkman, Margaret Ledrich, Linda Neiger, Phil (Sue) Neiger, Craig Neiger, Diane (Tony) Carlisle, Connie (Chuck) Wahl, Susan (Jim) Paris, Paul Neiger; great-nephews, Colton Garner, Cody Garner, Mark Studers Jr., Joshua Nusbaumer, Adam Bergener; great-niece, Brittany Kratz; great-great niece, Macey Nusbaumer; special caregivers, Debra Nusbaumer, Carrie Nusbaumer, and Jackie Bergener; best friends Dorothy Welsch, and Sue Kirkpatrick.Friends are invited to call Wednesday, May 9, 2007, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. & 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.Rev. Wayne Wheeler will lead the funeral service on Thursday, at 1:00 p.m., in the Linn-Hert Geib Chapel at New Philadelphia. Entombment will follow in the Dover Burial Park.
